Byram Township is known as the township of lakes with roughly 2 dozen lakes & ponds in its borders. 

 

 

Byram Township is a gorgeous community in northwest New Jersey, which has about 2 dozen lakes and ponds with beautiful scenery within its borders. It is also known to have a good school system, which offers many sports teams and activities.  Some sought after lake communities are Forest Lakes and Cranberry Lake, containing beaches and many community events.  Byram Township is the gateway to New Jersey trails, with the largest recreational facility C.O Johnson Park, boasting many outdoor activities.  Waterloo Village, an early 19th Century Village with many things to do, and Wild West City for your entertainment are also located here. Byram is near churches, major shopping, including Shoprite, CVS and the shops of International Trade, and many excellent restaurants.  Crunch Gym is also in nearby Stanhope.
